Make Your Own Tassel Garland!

Monday, 14 November 2016
Have you spotted all those amazing colourful garlands?...like everywhere?!? :O :D Well I have been lusting after them forever and finally decided to make one. I photographed the process and I'll link below where I got my supplies so you guys can make one too!
Here is my amazing new garland which is now hanging beautifully in the doorway of HOW HQ! I purchased 3 different colours of tassels to do my garland. The tassels were £1.00 per 5. I bought 5 packs, one for the garland pictured above and 2 packs for a garland I was making for my sons birthday :)
The tassels arrive in packets like this and require a little assembly. I found these ones on ebay here
To make the tassels you need to first separate all the layers. There was 5 tassels in every pack and these were quite fiddly to separate but if you go slow it's all good :D
Once you have separated them open one out like the above or so it somewhat resembles a face hugger :D :D :D
Start by folding the tassel like so....
Until it is about 1/4" wide
Next twist the middle like this. By folding it first it makes the overall tassel neater and easier to twist.
Fold it in half and this gives us the loop to hang our tassel
To secure wrap one of the strands around the top and secure with a spot of glue. Repeat this until all of your tassels are done and thread onto string. My pack came with the string so I didn't require any extra bits and bobs. It was such a simple project to make but was a little time consuming. Here is the finished result...
I'm so happy with how it came out and think it looks pretty good against our sprinkle wall! :D
It seems Dinah wasn't to impressed though :(
I'd love to see your garlands if you decide to make one :)

I hope you enjoyed this super quick make! I'm hoping to share a few more over December if I get a chance to finish the posts! :D

Hope you have a magical week!

Jewellery Club | Day Of The Dead

Friday, 28 October 2016
Yay! Today we get to finally share with you the contents of this months jewellery club! Whoooop! So this months theme was of course..... Day of The Dead! Here's the cover photo I designed for this month.
This months collection was chillingly awesome, if i do say so myself! :D I kept a few bits for myself! #sonotsorry but before we get into it let's have a look at what we created this month...
We decided on a Black, White, Blue & Red colour scheme for this set...
We decided to spruce up the boxes to match the jewellery too... so we opted for these gorgeous black glittery jewellery club boxes ^ ^ ^

This month was super duper time consuming as I ended up hand cutting each charm! :O Never again! :D LOL I think the end result was totally worth it though:
So let's have a look at some of the goodies in more detail...

So in this set I created
-Double layer skull choker necklace (RRP £15)
-Bunny skull acrylic stud earrings (RRP £6)
-Cat skull adjustable bracelet (RRP £7)
-Skull Tassel charm earrings (RRP £7)
-Greetings card with bunny skull (RRP £3)

My absolute favourite from this month was the choker necklace and since making it i haven't taken mine off! :D I am also really proud of the bunny stud earrings. I think they came out amazing! Whats your favourite?
We do have a few of the DOTD jewellery boxes left and they are listed in our Etsy shop here, if you missed out!

Before I go don't forget next months jewellery club will go on sale on the 1st of November (OMGOSH isn't this year flying by?!?!?) at the usual time of 9am over at jewelleryclub.co.uk

I hope you weekend is full of magic and glitter!

Simple Ombre Nail Tutorial

Wednesday, 19 October 2016
Over the past few months Iv'e been getting a lot of requests for a nail tutorial. Many of you have spotted my nails over on our Instagram and Facebook pages so I thought the time had come to finally get around to sharing it with you! :D
This is my go to manicure for a quick and cute polish. It dries really quickly and is super simple to do. So let's get started shall we...
So to do this nail tutorial you basically need two colours of nail polish. One darker and one lighter works best. I'm using a lilac and a dark blue. You will also need some sponge (!) I cut a sponge into 1cm x 2cm pieces.
Apply your nail polish like so! I do a lighter colour first and then the darker colour at the tip. This doesn't have to be neat just as long as it's on your nails! :D
Dab it with a sponge to blend. Now if you're careful with this you shouldn't get any on your fingers. But if you do a Q-tip and some nail polish remover will do the trick! Repeat this method over all nails doing one finger at a time.
Once you have done one coat like this, go back and do a second coat and seal with a clear varnish.
Next apply a glittery varnish for instant sparkle! Now you could just finish here or why not add one of your favourite Rockin Claws nail transfers?
I'm going to try out our new mandala Rockin Claws!
and here's how it came out! Our Rockin Claws come with full instructions on the reverse so follow the packing to apply these. :) <3 font="" nbsp="">The mandala would have probably looked better on a lighter base but I actually love the effect!

Be sure to check out our full range of Rockin Claws here

If you do decide to try out I'd love to see your pictures so be sure to tag us on social media!

Have a great rest of the week Wonderlanders!

Jewellery Club | Donut Quest

Wednesday, 28 September 2016
It's that time of the month again where we finally get to share with you this months jewellery club. This months theme was of course Donuts! Because all good things are deep fried and covered in sugar right?! 😆🤔 I put a little twist on this theme and drew a unicorn donut as well as a kitty donut too! But before we go into that lets take a quick look at the listing image....

Ta dahhhhh! Look at all the pastel iced goodness.

Now I'm not going to sugar coat this 😆 But this has to be one of my favourite themes we have ever done. It was truly a pleasure to make this collection and produce such a sweet jewellery set. Don't take my word for it! Let's have a look at some of the pictures!....

Isn't it lush?! So in this set I created
-Rainbow Unicorn acrylic necklace with satin bow (RRP £15)
-Mini Cat donut acrylic stud earrings (RRP £6)
-Triple donut adjustable ring (RRP £6)
-Rose Gold pink donut earrings (RRP £7)
-Set of four metal 1" donut pins (RRP £5)
- A sprinkle of magic!

Okay I seriously can't pick a favourite from this month! The unicorn necklace is just amazing! The kitty studs are so cute and the perfect size for everyday wear, the ring instantly makes any outfit super Kawaii! I love the rose gold colour on the donut earrings and the pins are perfect for pimping up your bags! I kept a necklace and ring for myself as there wasn't any of the earrings left 😭

We do have a few of the donut quest jewellery boxes left and they are listed in our Etsy shop here, if you missed out!

While I'm here I'm also super excited to share with you our next jewellery club theme which is of course.... Day of the dead.....

Eeeeek!!! I'm already bouncing at the thought of making all of the goodies up for this theme. I'll need to remember to make extra this time just for me! 😄 So, if you want to get your hands on this, it will go on sale on Saturday the 1st of October at 9am over on the jewellery club website here. 🎉

Don't forget we are also holding our second last flash sale of the year this Friday over on our Facebook page here. It all kicks off from 7pm and will feature our best sellers, discounts on some of our new arrivals as well as a few freebies too! Join the event page here for a reminder!

I hope you week is full of magic and glitter!
